Airgun Range

Welcome to the airgun range. Our range offers 12 covered shooting stations with benches and stools for left or right handed shooters. Target placement stakes are at 10, 25, and 50 yards. We also have multiple reactive targets in case you just want to ring the iron. Come out to try your hand at low-stress precision shooting that won't break the bank or a relaxing plinking session. Airguns can be enjoyed by new shooters who might be sensitive to noise and recoil, making it an ideal way to introduce the sport to young family members. Everyone is welcome.

Competition and Training

We offer three distinct competition formats with matches throughout the year. Please reference the Club Calendar & Events for dates.

Training and team practice is according to shooting team schedule. Contact the Air Gun Director for more information.

Airgun Range Benchrest

This is a USARB benchrest competition. All scores are recorded on the USARB website. We use the USARB light varmint and heavy varmint rules. Guns used for this competition are .177, .20, or 22. caliber only. Pre-charged pneumatic or springer guns under 20 ft-lbs of energy. Each match consists of three target sheets with 25 targets per sheet for a total of 75 shots per match. All targets are placed at 25 meters. If all competitors agree, targets can also be set at 50 yards.

Airgun Range Field Target

This competition uses modified basic international rules. We make the rules less strenuous so it is easier for new shooters to have fun. The targest are reactive metal targets with holes from 3/8" to 1 1/2" and are placed from 10 to 55 yards down range. A hit is scored by putting a pellet in the hole and knocking down the target. This is very challenging and greatly improves your hunting skills. It makes you understand range finding and holdover for accuracy at multiple distances. This competition is a lot of fun.
